Twenty-one-year-old Pfc. Zachary Anderson, Papa Company, 244th Quartermaster Battalion, was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he first arrived at Fort Lee in the spring of 2014. After several months of medical treatment, Anderson returned to Fort Lee last month to complete his Unit Supply Specialist training, despite an offer of discharge and medical compensation.
