Victor Arizpe give a thumbs up for their stations during a Mission Readiness Review Feb. 5, 2013, for the upcoming launch of 19th Defense Meteorological Satellite Program DMSP block 5D weather satellite at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. Used to monitor meteorological, oceanographic and solar-terrestrial physics for the Department of Defense, DMSP satellites are managed by Air Force Space Command with on-orbit operations provided by the NOAA.
