GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 25, 2015) U.S. Marine Sgt. Taylor Harris inspects an M240B machine gun bolt stud aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Harris is a non-destructive inspection technician with Medium Marine Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. She inspected the bolt for any cracks or discrepancies to ensure the M240 functions properly. The 15th MEU, embarked on the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
