151001-N-ZZ999-001 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 1, 2015) Aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing 2 fly alongside a Peruvian air force MIG-29 and Mirage 2000 during a photo exercise above aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). Washington is currently deployed as a part of Southern Seas 2015. The eighth deployment of its kind, Southern Seas 2015 seeks to enhance interoperability, increase regional stability, and build and maintain regional relationships with countries throughout the region through joint multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
