Tradesmen at the Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, work on the Coast Guard Cutter Oak (WLB 211), dry-docked on the Yard's shiplift Sept. 8, 2015. The cutter is the first 225' seagoing buoy tender to enter the Coast Guard's In-Service Vessel Sustainment Program at the Yard. Over the next year, the Oak will receive a mid-life renovation with overhaul of targeted hull, mechanical, electrical and electronic systems on the 12-year-old cutter.
