150910-N-UY393-040 San Diego (Sept. 10,2015) – Seaman Lacey Krecko, left, and Seaman Brian Barraza, both assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), act as line handlers for the Arleigh Burke guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108) as they get underway. America is currently undergoing a post- shakedown availability (PSA) in which the ship’s crew and assigned contractors make improvements to the ship’s design.
