    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

    U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Francisco Gonzalez with Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, gives the safety brief at the firing range Aug. 20 at Mount Bundey Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. 1st Battalion, 4th Marines is a part of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force that is composed of aviation, ground and logistics combat elements that create MRF-D. The rotational deployment in Darwin enables Marines to more effectively train, exercise and operate with their partners, enhancing regional security and building a capacity to respond more rapidly to natural disasters and crises throughout that region.
