Col. David Jenkins, 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade commander, presents Lt. Col. Richard Zeigler III, 1050th Transportation Battalion incoming commander, with the brigade patch, officially recognizing the battalion as part of the brigade. The South Carolina Army National Guard conducted a ceremony at the National Guard armory in Newberry, S.C., Aug. 2, officially recognizing and welcoming the 1050th Transportation Battalion to the 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade.
