Construction workers survey their maintenance progress at building 1255 along 5th Street, July 31, 2015. Repairs were made to the build’s duct and air conditioning system. The building houses K-Bay’s Chinese Garden and Aqua Zone dive shop, both scheduled to re-open Aug. 3, 2015. The two retail establishments share the mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii as a whole to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
