Matthew Doyle, native of Mineola, N.Y., mortar gunner, both from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-8 Combined Arms Battalion, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Task Force Band of Brothers, move the gun into position to fire a 120 mm shell from Forward Operating Base Paliwoda near Balad, Iraq.
