Two 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers chat with a German soldier during a social event on Sept. 28, 2009, to introduce paratroopers participating in Operation Bright Star. Troopers from Egypt, Germany, Pakistan and Kuwait arrived to Fort Bragg, N.C., to kick off the first half of the operation. On Oct. 12, U.S. troops will travel to Egypt to complete it.
