Master Sergeant Roberta Moline-Lueck, logistician for the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oregon National Guard, was awarded the "Female Veteran of the Year" award by the American Legion Auxiliary. Lueck was nominated by American Legion Post 180 in Milwaukie. The women are graded on their community service, service in the military, organizations in which they are involved and their character. Lueck, currently deployed in Iraq and unable to attend the award ceremony, taped her acceptance speech at Camp Adder, Iraq.
