A gunner of Suffolk-based Troop B, 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Virginia Army National Guard looks through the sights of his Mk 19 grenade launcher during gunnery qualifications June 10, 2015, at Fort Drum, N.Y. An observer-coach/trainer of First Army evaluated the team’s performance form inside the Humvee. The cavalry scouts were qualifying their truck teams before heading into a five-day squadron field training exercise during the 116th IBCT’s Multi-echelon Integrated Brigade Training.
