Richardson, from Los Angeles, Calif., both assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67), learn sign language from a student of the Association of Differently Abled Persons school during a community relation project in Olongapo City. The school, established in 1991, teaches children and teens, whom are deaf, mute, or blind, skill sets needed to communicate with others. Shiloh is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
