Staff Sgt. Abraham Lara, crew chief, 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, assists in transporting a U.S. Army victim of a simulated aircraft crash, Aug. 6. The aircraft emergency and the injured victims were in conjunction with a mass casualty exercise employed to evaluate the skills of emergency responders like Sgt. Lara. Sgt. Lara is deployed here from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and hails from El Paso, Texas.
