Lance Corporal David Whitehead, a Beaufort, South Carolina native, holds a snake while getting familiar with Australian wildlife April 28 at Territory Wildlife Park, Berry Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. Whitehead was joined by another U.S. Marine and a soldier with 1st Brigade, Australian Army, Australian Defence Force, on a familiarization tour of the Northern Territory. The tour covered animals that were small and fury, saltwater crocodiles that weighed one ton and a local eatery to try crocodile burgers.
