Royal Australian Navy Lt. Michael Jagger and Petty Officer 1st Class Aaron Wimberly, aerographer's mate, from Toledo, Ohio, discuss low and high tides for strategic amphibious landing points during Talisman Saber 09 in the meteorological and oceanography center aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Essex. Talisman Saber is a biennial, combined training activity designed to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and conducting combined operations, which will help improve combat readiness and interoperability between Australian and U.S. forces.
