NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (March 31, 2015) – Members of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Detachment Rota, Spain transport multiple Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters by convoy during helicopter intermodal operations. This operation is part of a new initiative that moves vehicles by land and air versus air, which yields substantial savings to the U.S. government in transportation costs.
