150415-N-WF272-062 PEARL HARBOR (April 15, 2015) Damage Controlman 3rd Class Michael Lablue, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS O'Kane (DDG 77), tests a PHD6 confined space gas detector during the gas-free engineering training and labs held at the Surface Warfare Officers School, Engineering Learning Site Pearl Harbor. Sailors received training in proper handling and operations of PHD6 confined space gas detector, Accuro ACC hand pump and gas detection tubes used for spot measurements.
