Air Force One is a call sign given to any aircraft the President of the United States is aboard. Typically, the president flies on one of two VC-25As from the 89th AW’s Presidential Airlift Group. The president, vice president, secretary of state, secretary of defense, first lady and other senior leaders also travel aboard 1st Airlift Squadron C-32As and C-40Bs, and 99th Airlift Squadron C-20Bs and C-37A/Bs.
