WILTSHIRE, England (March 27, 2015) – Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Casey Fernan, a native of Orange County, Calif., takes a photo of Max, one of the two Shire Horses owned by Wadworth & Co. brewery, during a tour offered to Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and the Arleigh Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) on March 27, 2015. TR’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation program set up a variety of different tours in Southern England while the ship anchored in Portsmouth, England. Theodore Roosevelt deployed from Norfolk and will execute a homeport shift to San Diego at the conclusion of deployment. Theodore Roosevelt is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
