Rear Admiral Bette Bolivar, commander of Joint Region Marinas, and retired Lt. Gen. Lawrence Snowden cut a cake with a ceremonial sword during a luncheon at the admiral's home. The veterans stopped on top of Nimitz Hill for a quick lunch, refreshments and a slice of cake during their tour visiting war memorials and battle sites. The group then traveled to Iwo Jima, now known officially as Ioto, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Jacob Snouffer/Released)
