Strykers teams with the 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regment prepare 1st Armor Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division armored vehicles for offloading March 18. The 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade will assume responsibility from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment for the U.S. Army’s Operation Atlantic Resolve land forces training mission in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Once Soldiers of 3ID return to the U.S., the armored vehicles will relocate to Germany in support of the planned expansion of U.S. Army Europe’s “European Activity Set” from a heavy battalion to a heavy brigade-sized equipment set.
