Capt. Barry Seip, a physician's assistant from El Paso, Texas, strums on his guitar while Sgt. 1st. Class Aric Quitugua, a medical platoon sergeant from Guam, thumps out beats on an improvised wooden drum stool at Forward Operating Base Hunter, Iraq. Seip and Quitugua are on their second Iraq deployment together. They provide medial care for troopers of the 2nd Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment "Sabers," 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division from Fort Bliss, Texas. The squadron advises and assists Iraqi security forces in rural Maysan province.
