Cadets and senior members with the Tennessee Wing Civil Air Patrol got a chance to sit down and talk with Maj. Gen. Haston, the adjutant general, today, as part of the CAP's Civic Leadership Academy. The Civic Leadership Academy aims to foster cadet officers’ civic growth by increasing their leadership skills, sense of civic responsibility and overall interest in the democratic process. CAP is the volunteer, nonprofit auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. Its three missions are to develop its cadets, educate Americans on the importance of aviation and space, and perform live-saving humanitarian missions. (Photo by US Air National Guard Master Sgt.
