Maj. Gen. James W. Nuttall is introduced to personnel at Headquarters, First Army, as he assumes the position as Deputy Commanding General, Army National Guard, effective June 1st. In this role, Nuttall is responsible for the training, readiness, oversight and mobilization of National Guard and Reserve Soldiers from the ContinentalUnited States and two U.S. territories. Nuttall comes to First Army following several assignments in Washington D.C. and Arlington, Va. Nuttall and his wife hail from the state of Rhode Island.
