Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, receive a safety brief before boarding Amphibious Assault Vehicles from Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd MEU, for surf qualification training off the coast of Greece, June 6. Elements of the 22nd MEU came ashore in Greece for a 12-day training evolution. The 22nd MEU, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. European Command.
