Viches, from Tampa Bay, Fla., was honored by the USO for his exemplary work on the job as well as his volunteer efforts in the community. Viches received seven letters of appreciation, one meritorious mast, two certificates of commendation, and logged more than 290 community service hours in the past year. Pecina, from Lubbock, Texas, is the commanding officer of Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan, and camp commander of Camp Foster. Wissler, from Brooklyn Park, Minn., is the commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force.
