Fireman Matthew French, a native of Austin, Texas, assigned to dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45), helps paint railings with fellow Sailors and Marines at the Rumah Wargatua Sri Pritchard retirement home as part of a community service outreach project during a port visit. Comstock, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is on a deployment with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit to promote peace and freedom of the seas by providing security and stability in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
