Kirk Merritt, an athlete from the Destrehan High School football team, is presented a jersey for being selected to play in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl on Jan. 4, 2015. The jersey was presented by Marine Corps Recruiter Staff Sgt. Carlos Pineda with the attendance of Kirk’s parents and his coach during the Destrehan vs Pineville football game on Nov. 14.
