Staff Sgt. Carmarius Johnson, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron bulk storage operator, and Tech. Sgt. John Neiffer, 379th ELRS non-commissioned officer in charge of bulk expeditionary receiving transportation holding area, work together to remove water in one of the fuel holding areas as a part of preventative maintenance, April 10, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The fuel held in the BERTHA is distributed to various locations around the base where needed to ensure mission success. Sergeant Johnson hails from Shreveport, La., and is deployed from Altus Air Force Base, Okla. Sergeant Neiffer hails from Pottstown, Pa., and is deployed from Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. Both are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
