Petty Officer 2nd Class Britni Godfrey, center, assigned to Naval Health Clinic Great Lakes, received the "U.S. Navy Woman of the Year" award from the USO of Metropolitan New York. Fellow award winners from each service (from left) Army Staff Sgt. Courtnee Torres, Marine Corps Sgt. Irene Chan, Godfrey, Air Force Technical Sgt. Katie White, and Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Jessica Wolchak. The recipients were recognized for outstanding achievements in their service to the country. This was the USO of Metropolitan New York's 43rd annual "Women of the Year" luncheon recognizing such women as the former first lady, Barbara Bush.
