A Marine fires an M9 9mm pistol during training at the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Combat Pistol Program range here, Nov. 3, 2014. The Marine Corps' Marksmanship Program Management Section adopted the new CPP in 2013 to reflect real-world conditions to help Marines train to use the M9 at close quarters.
