Sailors and civilian participants from Fleet Activities Yokosuka carry a Japanese mikoshi during the 38th annual Yokosuka Mikoshi Parade. In Japanese Shinto Buddhist tradition, Mikoshi are portable miniature shrines used to transport the spirit of a deity.
