Aviation Ordnancemen assigned to the "Blue Diamonds" of Strike Fighter Squadron 146 load MK-62 mines onto an F/A-18C Hornet aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis during Exercise Foal Eagle 2009. Foal Eagle is a defense-oriented annual training exercise with the Republic of Korea demonstrating the United States' commitment to regional peace and stability. John C. Stennis and Carrier Air Wing 9 are on a scheduled six-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
