Soldiers with the Minnesota National Guard’s 114th Transportation Company and Marines with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force pose for a group photo on Transit Center M.K Air Base before redeploying to back to the United States on Sept. 5, 2014. The redeployment was a milestone for M.K. personnel supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and the drawdown in Afghanistan as they processed their 100,000th transient service member since February 2014. \TCMK, Air Force with the 780th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron and Soldiers under the 21st Theater Sustainment Command took over much of the transient operations that took place on Manas Air Base as the contract with that base came to an end.
