Vice Adm. William E. Gortney, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and U.S. 5th Fleet, speaks with Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Sailors from the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima. Gortney was aboard Iwo Jima to congratulate the Marines and Sailors for their work and to answer any questions they may have from their 2008-2009 deployment. The 26th MEU and the Iwo Jima Strike Group are deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
