Spc. Francisco Rojas, a Brooklyn, N.Y., native, joined the Army as a water treatment specialist. But while serving in Iraq, he performs the duties of a motor transport operator. Rojas says that preventive maintenance and checks are important to ensure that the equipment is mission ready at all times as well as having safe operations. He accomplishes this by performing the proper steps of PMCS. "Our equipment is the bread and butter of this Company."Rojas is a key element to maintaining this status. Rojas is a Soldier of the 62nd Quartermaster Company, 398th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, and is currently serving a 15-month tour of duty in support of Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
