Sgt. Arthur J. Myles, a Dothan, Ala., native, and Power Generation Equipment repairer with the 503rd Maintenance Company, 398th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, is currently working as a power generation mechanic and cross-trained as an A/C technician. He is also partially experienced as a heavy construction equipment repairer and greatly enhances the direct support readiness for the GSE section. Myles is preparing to perform a technical inspection on a 54,000 BTU Air Conditioner with a 5KW generator. He determined that the motor was inoperative and the v-belt was damaged. He used the training manual to get the NSNs and ordered the parts, thereby placing the job in "1" status. Myles' famous quote is "52Ds get the job done". The 503rd Maint. Co. is currently on a 15-month tour of duty in support of Multi-National Corps - Iraq.
