Children make backpack key chains as part of a back-to-school event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Aug. 14, 2014. During the event, children of active-duty and reserve service members met with Disney Channel star Sabrina Carpenter for photos and autographs. The event also featured a healthy eating class where children learned what components make a healthy, well-balanced lunch.
Craft stations were set up for children to make a key chain for their backpack and fill out a time capsule sheet to reopen at the end of the year for the children to see how their lives have changed.
