Sgt. Thomas A. Elfar was named Multi-National Division - Baghdad's Combat Aviation Brigade Soldier of the Year. The Bruceville-Eddy, Texas, native, competed against more than 20 hand selected Soldiers across the brigade of approximately 3,000 personnel in a series of boards. Capt. Bryan Darilek, Echo Co. commander, awards Elfar in a ceremony at Camp Taji.
