Michael Weaver of Maplewood, Minn. was promoted from Captain to Major while serving in Iraq, Jan. 2. Maj. Weaver is a member of the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade, Minnesota National Guard and is expected to return from Joint Base Balad, Iraq in March. Maj. Weaver, who also received the Army Commendation Medal, is congratulated by Col. Clay Brock, Commander of the 34th Combat Aviation Brigade.
