Sgt. 1st Class Ronald Harper (left), the DeFleury Dining Facility's food operations non-commissioned officer in charge, along with Frank Lercher, the DeFleury dining facility manager, hold a plaque they were presented, Jan. 19, as their team earned recognition as the best DFAC, large category, on the Victory Base Complex for a competition conducted during Thanksgiving. The award was presented by Brig. Gen. Daniel Allyn, chief of staff, Multi-National Corps – Iraq, at the Oasis Sports DFAC. Harper serves with the 890th Engineer Battalion, 926th Engineer Brigade, Multi-National Division – Baghdad. Lercher is a Brown and Root employee.
