    Col. Garin Tentschert, former 97th Airlift Squadron commander out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., operating a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft back in 2001. Tentschert is also an Alaska Airlines chief pilot, responsible for the Portland-Seattle region. He's been flying aircraft with both organizations since 1999.
