Lance Cpl. Tom M. Enright, center right, attempts to topple Yoshiya Sakumoto May 31 during the annual Henoko Okinawa-Style Sumo Tournament at Mae-No-Hama field in Henoko. The tournament serves to build on the already friendly relations between U.S. service members and Okinawa residents through spirited competition, according to Ayumi Oshiro, an administrative specialist with 3rd Marine Logistics Group Disbursing Office, 3rd MLG, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Enright is a Deadwood, S.D., native and electro-optical ordnance repairer with Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III MEF. Sakumoto is a member of the Okinawa community.
