Petraeus, commander, United States Central Command, departs the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt in an SH-60F Sea Hawk assigned to the "Tridents" of Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron 3. Theodore Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing 8 are on deployment in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility and are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
