Cpl. Jason D. Calo, an artillery/mortar scout attached to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, observes the location of mortar round hits during a Tactical Air Control Party training exercise, Nov. 13, in al Anbar province, Iraq. Calo was responsible for spotting and relaying coordinates of mortar hits to both the mortar teams and forward air controllers to ensure the aircrafts had the correct targets.
