The amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge is deployed as the primary platform for the Caribbean phase of Continuing Promise, an equal-partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
