Staff Sgt. Herbert Smitley, mechanized infantry platoon sergeant, assigned to Company C, 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, links up with Iraqi national police of the 1st Battalion, 5th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division, Oct. 28, 2008, prior to conducting a target raid in the Risalah community of southern Baghdad. Smitley, a native of Waynesburgh, Pa., and the Soldiers of the 4th Bn., 64th Armor Regiment, "Tuskers," are attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, and nearing the end of a 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Tuskers are part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, from Fort Stewart, Ga.
