Audie Murphy, their knowledge of Army regulations and their ability to apply them in real-life circumstances. The Audie Murphy Club originated in 1986 on Fort Hood, Texas, and recognizes noncommissioned officers that exemplify leadership characterized by personal concern for the needs, training, development and welfare of their soldiers. These noncommissioned officers are a prime example of the 2ndInf. Div. readiness to fight tonight. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Sara E. Wiseman, 210th Field Artillery Brigade Public Affairs/Released)
